COVER WARNING!!
In Michigan we are experiencing on of the harshest winters in a long while!
High winds and extremely low temperatures are the first concern.
I would highly recommend to all of your guests staying at a house with a hot tubs to have two people open the hot tub cover to prevent it from blowing open aggresivly.
If the cover opens with high winds, damages will occur!!
Cover lifter extended past the stops will damage the vertical supports.
Mounting brackets can get ripped right out of the cabinet or base, leaving damaged paneling or to the frame
Cover can get folded in half and crack the inner foam core.
The cover could strike one of your guests
Keep these tips in mind when checking in new guests during these extreme winter conditions!

I started Innovo Spa during COVID when I lost my job in the spring of 2020. We needed to make money, and I knew how to clean and maintain hot tubs.
I noticed hot tubs were being sold like crazy during this time because everyone was staying home, and or working from home now.
I approached the dealer in my area to see who was cleaning all these spas that were being sold. They said no one was cleaning them, everyone was buying! But the dealer couldn’t keep up with the demand of hot tubs. They needed help delivering and setting them up.
So I made a deal with the dealer. I would put together a delivery crew and help them deliver new spas, as long as I could pitch the new clients my cleaning program. They agreed.
I would delivery 2-4 hot tubs during the day, and in the evening, go start up the spas I had just delivered.
We started this business with $0.00 upfront. Just hustle and working with as many clients as we could day one!
Today we are the largest hot tub cleaning and management group in the Midwest. We have offices in Traverse City, Grand Rapids, and Detroit.
We serve over 1,500 clients a month, with the bulk of our work coming from short term rentals.

Last year we delivered and move over 200 hot tubs. That was a lot of work for sure.
But keep in mind all of the other services that we provided when delivering one hot tub:
- Site inspection
- Communication and coordination with client
- Communication and coordination with all contractors. (Electricians, builders, deck builders, concrete installers, crane operators, tow truck operators, etc)
- Vendor pickup and product transport
- Install teams and crew onsite for proper install
- Hot tub operations education
- Water chemistry education
Delivery day for a client is such a big day! We are just as excited as they are to get their new tub in place.
When not properly prepared, it can also be a nightmare!!

You'll often hear from our team about the *Path of travel* when you call to schedule a hot tub delivery or move.
This situation would be best to bring the hot tub down the middle of these steps with permission from the neighbors. Bringing the hot tub down stairs there is always a risk of the spa "bouncing" or cracked corners when the spa falls from one step to the next. Either a spa sled down the stairs one step at a time, or use a dolly on the grass.
Last year alone we delivered and moved over 400 hot tubs!!
We've run into some really tricky situations to maneuver. But always keeping the three "P's" in mind when working.

Guys this is a crazy dream come true for me personally, as well as our team. We meet weekly to talk about how we are going to up our game in the water care space, and how we can bring more value as we serve our existing clients. Now we are able to market to and attract a whole new group of clientele.

Delivery day is always incredible!!
Often times we’ve never had the chance to meet the customer ahead of time, therefore, first impressions matter a lot.
We go to great lengths to make sure that we’ve communicated ahead of time what the customer can expect from our crew and how delivery day is going to go down. Because the customer has only dealt with the dealership up to this point, we are the new people on the scene delivering through the dealer.
I work with new crew members and old to make sure we are all on the same page when showing up for the first time on someone’s property, delivering their much anticipated hot tub.
This is work I thoroughly enjoy, and hope to continue on for a long time!
